Security Officer Crescent Shopping Centre, Limerick
Vardis Security is currently recruiting an experienced Security Officer for a prestigious department store located within Crescent Shopping Centre, Limerick.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering 40 to 45 hours per week, working Tuesday to Sunday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, contractors, and visitors, while delivering a professional and customer-focused security service on behalf of our client.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas
- Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to security incidents
- Assist in the prevention of theft and stock loss
- Complete incident reports and daily occurrence logs accurately
- Liaise with store management and Vardis Security management
- Provide a visible, professional security presence at all times
- Respond to emergencies in line with site procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service while carrying out security duties
Requirements
- Valid PSA Security Licence — essential
- Previous security experience is essential
- Retail or department store security experience is highly desirable
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and customer focused
