About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Steel Fabrication Engineer / Technical Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the Irish steel fabrication industry and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans accurately.
- Prepare and update technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
- Maintain quality control procedures and associated documentation records.
- Liaise with internal departments including production, design, and project management teams.
- Support fabrication and production processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
- Assist with material selection and production planning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the Irish steel fabrication industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of steel production processes and materials.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Creo drawing software.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication details.
- Strong communication skills with fluent English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.

- Experience coordinating between multiple departments.
- Ability to manage documentation and reporting processes efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
