We are seeking a creative, motivated, and organised Social Media & Marketing Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, content creation, social media, digital marketing, and brand development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping grow our online presence, promoting leading professional brands, and creating engaging content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google and other social media platforms
- Creating engaging social media posts, reels, stories, and promotional campaigns
- Producing photography and video content for products, promotions, and events
- Writing compelling marketing copy for social media, email campaigns, website content, and promotional materials
- Updating and maintaining company website content, promotions, banners, and product information
- Assisting with the management and optimisation of our WooCommerce website
- Supporting SEO initiatives to improve online visibility and search rankings
- Assisting with Google Business Profile management and updates
- Supporting Google Ads and other digital marketing campaigns
- Monitoring website performance, online engagement, and marketing results
- Creating promotional posters, graphics, and marketing materials
- Supporting in-store promotions, events, trade shows, and customer engagement initiatives
- Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends
- Working closely with management and suppliers to promote key brands and campaigns
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a marketing, social media, content creation, or digital marketing role
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business Profile, and digital marketing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Full understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Strong computer skills and confidence working with websites and online platforms
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
- Photography and videography experience
- Experience creating and editing reels and short-form video content
- Experience managing WooCommerce websites
- Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Knowledge of the hair, beauty, barbering, or cosmetics industry
- Experience managing business social media accounts
