We are a successful Irish-owned Builders & DIY store with a strong reputation for quality products, expert advice, and outstanding customer service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Store Colleague to join our team.
About the Role
As a Store Colleague, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will assist customers with their DIY, home improvement, and building projects while ensuring the store remains well-stocked, organised, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service.
- Assist customers in locating products and offering advice where appropriate.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
- Operate service counter and process transactions accurately.
- Receive, check, and organise deliveries.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store targets and objectives.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous retail, DIY, builders’ merchants, or customer service experience is desirable.
- Willingness to learn about DIY, hardware, building materials, and home improvement products.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends when required.
