The Darnley Lodge Hotel is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender / Bar Staff member to join our Food & Beverage team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality and is looking for a part-time role with regular evening hours, along with the opportunity to pick up additional hours during busy periods and events.
You'll be working across our Darnley Lounge and Darnley Suite/Ballroom, serving hotel guests and customers attending weddings, parties, celebrations and other special events.
Duties
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service.
- Preparing and serving beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and other beverages.
- Taking food and drink orders and serving food in the Darnley Lounge.
- Operating the till and handling customer payments.
- Keeping the bar and service areas clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Assisting with stock and general bar duties.
- Working as part of a team during busy evenings, weddings and functions.
- Helping to create a warm and enjoyable experience for every customer.
About You
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is an advantage, but full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
- Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers.
- Reliable, hardworking and a good team player.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Evening availability is essential, with weekend availability required during busy periods.
Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
