Shoreline Leisure Bray is currently recruiting for a Leisure Attendant
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the various roles within a leisure centre.
They will need to be able to exhibit excellent communication skills, organisational skills, reliability.
They will require the capacity to solve problems and work under pressure while maintaining and developing positive relationships with both colleagues and clients.
Job Description:
- Candidates must hold a relevant fitness qualification i.e. EFPA/NCEF/ITEC/NCEHS or equivalent Reps Ireland recognised qualification(s).
- Valid lifeguard qualification required.
- Valid swim teachers qualification required.
- Develop and update health & fitness activities / programs within the centre for all users.
- Delivery of both public and school swimming lessons.
- Delivery of group fitness classes (Les Mills / Spinning qualifications would be an advantage)
- To support the centre management in the overall development and operation of the centre.
- To ensure that the day-to- day operations of the leisure centre meet the standards expected by centre management.
- To ensure the centre delivers the highest level of standards of customer service, health & safety, program delivery, development of new products / services and hygiene.
- Ensure that excellent customer service is delivered to all Shoreline Leisure clients.
- Reception / administration / membership sales / cash handling duties.
- Arranging social events / gym challenges / in-house sporting activities.
- Work well as part of a dynamic team.
