About the Opportunity
A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced
Mechanical Site Supervisor to join its Dublin-based project team, initially supporting the successful delivery of a major
Hyperscale Data Centre.
Working alongside the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of complex
Mechanical Building Services (M&E) packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

The Role - Mechanical Site Supervisor
As
Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site, ensuring effective coordination of subcontractors, engineering teams, commissioning personnel, and client representatives while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and programme performance.
Mechanical Site Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation and delivery of Mechanical Building Services (M&E) packages, including HVAC, chilled water, heating systems, process pipework, clean utilities, compressed air, ventilation, plumbing, mechanical plant, pumps, valves, BMS interfaces, and associated services, ensuring compliance with project specifications, construction programmes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily site activities, managing mechanical subcontractors, labour resources, materials, plant, inspections, and installation sequencing while ensuring effective interface management with Electrical, CSA, BIM, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams to achieve key programme milestones.
- Carry out site inspections, quality checks, snagging, progress monitoring, toolbox talks, and safety audits, resolving technical issues, reviewing drawings, monitoring productivity, and ensuring all mechanical installations comply with design specifications, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings, maintain accurate site records, support short-term planning, identify programme risks and construction constraints, and provide regular progress updates to Project Managers and senior site leadership.
- Promote a culture of health & safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement, ensuring the successful delivery, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems on this flagship Data Centre project.
Necessary Requirements of the Mechanical Site Supervisor
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman, Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Engineer, or Mechanical Construction Supervisor within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Semiconductor, or Mission-Critical Construction environments.
- Proven experience supervising the installation of Mechanical Building Services, including HVAC, process pipework, plumbing, chilled water, heating systems, clean utilities, mechanical plant, pumps, valves, ductwork, and commissioning activities, while managing subcontractors and maintaining programme delivery.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Construction, Health & Safety, QA/QC, site inspections, construction sequencing, BIM coordination, commissioning, project planning, and mechanical installation best practice, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve site coordination challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Field View, or similar construction management software.
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site certifications are desirable.
