We are seeking to recruit a health and safety professional to support and promote a safe and compliant workplace.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating health & safety documentation, implementing and maintaining company procedures and promoting compliance across the business. They will work closely with employees, contractors, and management teams. The role includes:
Identify upcoming training requirements, book training, assign courses, record attendance, obtain feedback.
Maintain and update Company Training Matrix via LMS – Uploading new certifications, provide support to users.
Assist in development of in-house training courses and safety communication material including online and in-person training ensuring compliance with safety regulations, codes of practice and industry best practice.
Develop and deliver company inductions/onboarding, health and safety inductions.
Implement common standards and procedures towards a consistent approach to EHS throughout the Business. Ensure compliance with safety legislation and company standards.
Stock and manage PPE, workwear and safety equipment for all staff
Contractor management: review incoming RAMS and communicate required changes, assess insurance details and statutory safety documentation.
Carry out accident and incident investigations and compile and submit reports.
Identify opportunities to reduce workplace injuries, accidents, and health issues, and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Advise and assist Operations teams in drafting and submitting RAMS and templates
Complete customer prequalification H&S and insurance questionnaires.
Maintain chemical/material inventory list and risk assessments
Compile and submit project handovers, data sheets and completion certificates
Qualifications:

Excellent MS Office and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of Irish EHS Regulations and relevant ISO Standards.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
H&S qualification - Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification.
