Ryan Civil Engineering Ltd are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civils Project / Site Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to play a key role in delivering civil engineering and utility projects across multiple live sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple active sites
- Coordinate site managers, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with permits, RAMS, and health & safety procedures
- Monitor programme progress and provide regular progress updates to senior management
- Maintain quality standards and ensure works are delivered to specification
- Manage live construction environments while maintaining safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate project records, permits, and site documentation
- Oversee subcontractor performance and site coordination activities
- Drive programme delivery while ensuring operational and safety standards are consistently achieved
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on civil engineering/groundworks projects
- Proven experience in a Site Manager or Project Manager role within civils or utilities
- Strong understanding of health & safety systems, permits, RAMS, and compliance procedures
- Experience managing subcontractors and live construction environments
- Full clean driving licence
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with Irish civil engineering or utility contractors
- Strong programme management and reporting skills
- Experience managing multiple live sites simultaneously
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant engineering or construction-related qualification
- Additional health & safety certifications
- Experience across multi-site civil engineering projects
