The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery is developing a state-of-the-art specialty coffee destination on the Dock Road in Limerick City, bringing together coffee roasting, education, retail, wholesale, and hospitality under one roof. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to join our team and help drive the next stage of our journey.
The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in managing our daily operations, ensuring our stock, production, wholesale, and supply processes run smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys organisation, improving systems, and working in a fast-paced coffee environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing stock control, purchasing, receiving, and storage operations.
- Coordinating weekly requirements for roasting, packing, wholesale, and retail operations.
- Ensuring supplier deliveries are checked, recorded, and stored correctly.
- Managing warehouse systems and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Coordinating wholesale order preparation, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Supporting product setup, pricing updates, and inventory management across business systems.
- Planning warehouse team schedules and ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in warehouse management, stock control, or logistics.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing business.
- Experience with inventory management systems is an advantage.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in food, beverage, coffee, or hospitality operations is desirable.
This is a daytime role within a business that operates 7 days a week. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and become an important part of our operations team.
Salary: €40,000–€50,000 per year, depending on experience.
