Position: Driver (Full-time)
We’re looking for a Driver to join our team. If you’re someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and wants to feel like an essential part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Your Role and Impact
- Vehicle Exchange: Deliver and exchange vans or HGVs at customer premises, ensuring a seamless transition by dropping off a replacement vehicle and collecting those due for service, repair or rental return.
- Inspection and Reporting: Conduct a thorough inspection of both the vehicle being delivered and the one being collected, noting any damage, fuel levels, or maintenance needs, and reporting them back to the fleet, rental or service team.
- Customer Communication: Liaise with customers in a friendly and professional manner to coordinate vehicle drop-off and pick-up times, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
- Vehicle Preparation: Before delivery, ensure that the vans or HGVs are clean, fueled, and fully operational to meet the customers' needs.
- Ad Hoc Support: Assist with any other fleet-related tasks as required, including the delivery of parts, or supporting the team with other logistical duties.
