ISM Recruitment is currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to work agency shifts in HSE facilities located in Callan, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

Job Description:
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, and emotional well-being
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain hygiene and infection control
- Ensure safety, assist with falls prevention and mobility
- Support patient transport and respond promptly to call bells
- Communicate respectfully and seek help when needed
Job Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support/ Community care / Pre-nursing
- Required vaccinations including:
- *Hepatitis*BMMR*Tuberculosis*Varicella
- Must currently reside in Ireland and hold one of the following:EU PassportGNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, or Stamp 4
- Must be willing to complete Garda Vetting
- International Police Clearance required if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care support to service users, including assistance with feeding, washing, and dressing
- Report any incidents or concerns to the person in charge
- Provide emotional and social support to service users
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
