Essential Requirement
Candidates must have strong equestrian knowledge and practical experience with horses.
This is an essential requirement for the position, as the successful candidate will be handling equestrian products and assisting customers with product-related enquiries. Applications from candidates without relevant equestrian knowledge and experience will not be considered.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a varied role involving warehouse duties, online order fulfilment and assisting on the shop floor when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Inwards and Stock Management
- Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery documentation.
- Accurately put new products into stock.
- Label, price and security-tag products as required.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are correctly displayed.
- Carry out regular stock rotation and stock checks.
- Report damaged goods, shortages or stock discrepancies.
- Keep stockrooms organised so that products can be located easily.
Online Order Fulfilment
- Pick products accurately for online customer orders.
- Pack orders carefully and securely for dispatch.
- Check that the correct products, quantities and sizes are included.
- Assist with preparing orders for courier collection.
- Help process customer returns and returned stock when required.
Shop Floor Support
- Replenish stock and maintain product displays throughout the store.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised shop floor.
- Support the retail team during busy periods.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
General Duties
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse, stockrooms and shop.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with deliveries and the movement of stock.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required to support the efficient operation of the business.
Candidate Requirements
- Equestrian knowledge and practical experience are essential.
- Previous warehouse, stockroom or retail experience would be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable using computers and stock-management systems.
- Physically capable of safely handling and moving stock as required.
- Available to work weekends as part of the normal weekly roster.
Position Details
This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week. Working hours will be rostered across the week and will include weekend work.
Pay: €14.50-€16.00 per hour
