About Us
Bridgeman Ecosystems is an expanding engineering business based in Co. Meath. Since 2018, we have been designing and manufacturing equipment for the recycling, quarrying and mining industries across Ireland and internationally. We also operate a busy shot blasting and powder coating facility, providing finishing services for the Irish architectural and structural steel industry.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Trainee Sand Blasting & Powder Coating Operative to join our team.
This role involves the preparation, sand blasting and finishing of steel components to the highest quality standards. Working within our coating facility, you will be involved in all stages of the finishing process, from surface preparation and masking through to loading, coating support and final packing of completed products.
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
● Sand blasting, cleaning and preparation of metal components prior to coating.
● Pre-treatment, masking, priming and preparation of parts as required.
● Loading and hanging components efficiently for the coating process.
● Maintaining high quality standards throughout production.
● Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
● Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
● Carrying out daily equipment and housekeeping checks.
● Following company quality procedures and health & safety policies.

● Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

● Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
● Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
Desirable (but not essential)
● Previous powder coating or paint preparation experience.
● Overhead crane certification.
● Manual handling certification.
● Forklift licence.
● Full clean driving licence.
Pay: €16.00-€20.00 per hour
