Role: Retail / Warehouse Assistant
Location: Killarney Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow
Type: Full-Time
Hours: 35 hours/week approx, including Saturdays
About Us
At the Outdoor Adventure Store / The Scout Shop, we live for outdoor adventure—and helping others get out there. From camping gear and hiking boots to official Scouting supplies, we equip our community with the tools and advice they need to explore safely and confidently. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented team members to support both our retail floor and warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Support: Greet gear lovers and Scouts, help them find the right equipment, and process sales at the register.
- Inventory & Warehousing: Receive, unpack, and log incoming shipments; organize backroom stock; and prep orders for shipping or store display.
- Floor Maintenance: Keep the sales floor fully stocked, organized, clean, and visually engaging.
- Gear Advice: Share practical product tips (training provided on specialized outdoor and Scout gear).
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for the outdoors, camping, or Scouting is a huge plus.
- Experience in retail, customer service, or warehouse/inventory handling preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, reliable attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays as needed).

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bray, County Wicklow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
