Job Title: Inventory Stores Technician
We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Stores Technician on our client site in Blanchardstown.
Role/Responsibilities
- Receiving goods inwards
- Issuing out of parts in a timely fashion
- Order in MRP & Adhoc parts for site.
- Manage the deliveries and collections when required.
- Manage inventory levels and report as required.
- Liaise with purchasing on re-ordering & ad hoc parts
- Organization of stores
- Stock/Cycle Counting
- Manage supply constraints, deviations & back orders.
- Deliver the agreed metrics to support the benchmarking of site
- Carry out customer/site specific requests in line with contractual agreement
- Other ad hoc duties
Candidate Profile
- Operating knowledge of Central Inventory function Systems, SAP, Oracle an advantage but not essential
- Full clean driving licence as the candidate must be able to able to drive the box van, counterbalance and reach truck on site.
- Fully Computer Literate with good attention to detail - knowledge of MS software packages (Excel, Word) would be an advantage
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Fluency in English an essential
- Adaptable and Flexible Approach with a can-do attitude and an ability and willingness to learn
- Confident in dealing with Clients and vendors
- Ability to handle engineering queries from the engineers
- Knowledge of engineering parts an advantage
