The Opportunity
Insulex is an SEAI-approved One Stop Shop delivering home energy upgrades and full retrofit services to homeowners across Munster. Based in Bandon, Co. Cork, we are looking for an experienced sales professional to take ownership of our inbound pipeline and drive sales results.
We are looking for someone who is experienced at building relationships with customers, working through their questions and concerns naturally, and bringing a sale to a close.
You will receive full training on our products, the SEAI grant process, and the technical side of home energy upgrades. What we expect you to bring is the sales ability and professional discipline to convert a strong pipeline of warm inbound enquiries into signed contracts.

The Role
Working directly with homeowners, you will be responsible for the full sales process from initial enquiry through to signed agreement. Day-to-day, this includes:
- Managing and following up on inbound leads - these are warm enquiries from homeowners who have already expressed interest in energy upgrades, not cold calling.
- A combination of office-based work and on-the-road client visits.
- Conducting site visits to assess properties, take measurements, and gather the information needed to produce accurate quotations.
- Preparing quotations for individual home energy upgrade measures, for example insulation/windows /doors.
- Guiding customers through the SEAI grant process and helping them understand the financial benefits available to them
- Closing sales and progressing projects through to handover to our installation team
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Proven track record in sales, you can demonstrate results in a previous sales role
- Full clean Irish driving licence - essential (company vehicle provided)
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong communication skills - comfortable on the phone, in person at a customer’s home, and in writing
- Good with numbers and measurements — accuracy is key in this role
- Experienced closing ability
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, good organisational skills
- Professional and reliable Willingness to travel across Cork and surrounding areas
- Comfortable with computers and digital tools — email, spreadsheets, and able to pick up new systems quickly
An advantage but not required:
- Experience in home energy upgrades, construction, or a related industry
- Familiarity with SEAI grant schemes
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
