Calmast is the SETU STEM engagement centre working across all areas of STEM and with all ages and backgrounds. The centre has many activities at the intersection of art, humanities and STEM. It coordinates Maths Week Ireland, the largest such festival in the world. It leads three Science Week Festivals together with South East Engineering Festival and Bealtaine Living Earth Festival in the region and runs many other projects and supports many events from other organisations. In 2025 50,000 people engaged with Calmast activity in the region.
Calmast SETU's STEM Engagement Centre is looking for a creative and versatile digital communications professional to manage video production, social media channels, newsletters, and website content. The ideal candidate will combine strong storytelling abilities with technical digital skills and experience managing multi-platform communications campaigns.
