SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative at our premises in Dublin 12. This is an on-going full-time position with immediate start. Previous carpet cutting experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Forklift license also preferable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the warehouse team, you will be responsible for organising and maintaining warehouse and stock levels. You will also ensure all carpet/vinyl orders are cut and ready for collection. Day to day duties will include liasing with the office staff, customers and couriers. The role will also involve loading and unloading, stock taking, merchandising, arranging samples and other general warehouse duties. In addition to warehouse tasks, assisting with van deliveries may also be required.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Manual Handling Training and Forklift license desired but not essential
-Organised and hard-working;
-Numerate and good communication skills;
-Trustworthy and a team player;
-Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
-Enjoy building a rapport with customers.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.00pm, some flexibility is required to work outside these hours occasionally.
