We are looking for a senior speech and language therapists to join our MDT team of Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists in our Southside Dublin clinic in Mount Merrion. This role will be a hybrid of working on site and remote remote work.
The successful candidates will be offered continuing professional development and weekly supervision and work as part of a dynamic team.
- Carrying out assessment and therapeutic intervention
- Liaising with clients, family members, carers and other staff
- Onward referral to other members of the MDT where necessary
- Keeping detailed clinical notes and drafting reports on client assessments, intervention and progress.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Speech and Language therapy
- Candidates must be motivated, adaptive and creative with a passion for engaging with clients across a mixed and varied caseload on a daily basis. Candidates should be eager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, self-driven and focused
- CORU registered or be able to show proof of pending registration
- Relevant post qualification or under-graduate placement experience in a paediatric/disability setting
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and to work as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Good IT and computer skills
- Effective use of reflective practice/supervision process
- Some flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the needs of the service
- 3 years post graduate qualification and experience
- Experience of developing and running groups for parents/ children
SLT Salary is paid in accordance with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales.
