Basic Grade Physiotherapist – Care of the Elderly
Brampton care and Rehabilitation is situated in Oranmore and operate a 88 bedded nursing home along with a separate Neuro Rehabilitation facility. We are the first in the west of Ireland to open a CARF accredited solely dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit. We are looking for a Basic Grade physiotherapist to join us on a full or part time basis covering the Nursing home with cross over into the Neuro Rehabilitation
The successful candidate will have the support of the Senior Physio and work along the MDT Team. Our MDT Team consists of a Clinical Psychologist, SLT, OT, Physio and therapy assistants.

As a Physiotherapist, you will:
- Undertake skilled and specialist assessment to formulate individualised management and treatment plans using evidence based clinical reasoning skills and utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options.
- Devise and carry out specific exercise programs and to assess and prescribe 24-hour postural management programs.
- Be actively involved in the Elderly care service training program, participate in potential research opportunities and work with team members on poster presentations for national conferences.
- Arrange and Carry out the exercise programme for elderly care
As a Physiotherapist, you will need:
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (essential)
- CORU registration or near registration
- ISC Registration (Preferred )
