Barkleys Doggy Daycare, a leading provider of exceptional care for dogs in the North Co Dublin area, is currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Daycare Assistant and Carer. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care for our furry guests, ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall happiness.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with taking bookings and managing schedules
- Provide attentive care for dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playgroups and outdoor activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for both dogs and staff
- Respond to client inquiries and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Genuine love for dogs and a strong desire to work with them
- Prior experience in dog care, such as dog walking, pet sitting, or working in a similar role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between various locations in North Co Dublin (Balbriggan, Lusk, Julianstown, Swords, Malahide)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work outdoors
