Retail Operations Executive
Full-Time | The Pavilion Garden Centre
The Pavilion Garden Centre is seeking a capable, hands-on and detail-oriented team member to join our operations and merchandising team in a full-time position.
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys a balance of practical work, customer interaction and creative retail presentation. The position combines local customer deliveries, stock handling, customer service, merchandising and the installation of seasonal displays across the garden centre.
The role evolves throughout the year in line with the seasonal nature of the business. During the spring and summer months, there is a stronger focus on deliveries, stock movement and outdoor operations, while the autumn and winter seasons involve more visual merchandising and large-scale seasonal installations, including Christmas displays and feature builds.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in presentation standards, works carefully and efficiently, and enjoys contributing as part of a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack and organise incoming stock deliveries
- Merchandise products and maintain high presentation standards throughout the store
- Carry out local customer deliveries using the company vehicle
- Provide professional, friendly and helpful customer service
- Assist with the creation and installation of seasonal displays and promotional features
- Assemble and manage display fittings, fixtures and structural elements for seasonal installations
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the garden centre across multiple departments
- Handle stock with care and attention to detail, ensuring products are presented to a high standard
- Contribute to the preparation and transformation of the store during key seasonal periods
Skills & Experience
- Full clean driving licence essential
- Strong practical ability and confidence working with fittings, fixtures and display installation
- Excellent attention to detail and care in handling products and stock
- Ability to work independently when carrying out deliveries and collaboratively as part of the wider team
- Reliable, adaptable and organised approach to work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in retail, garden centres, interiors, visual merchandising or hands-on operational roles would be advantageous
- Basic carpentry or handyman experience would be highly beneficial
- Fluent in speaking English

Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
