Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator required to work along with our Project Managment Team on projects €3M to €10M in value in the West of Ireland.
Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a methodical way of thinking, Excellent negotiation and Teamwork skills and looking for a new challenge.
Renumeration and package is negotiable depending on experience and capability.
Role:
- Liaising with QS, Procurement and Construction Management Teams
- sourcing competitive bids from sub-contractors and managing the commericals
- Evaluate and compare returned quotes
- Reviewing tender documents for potential errors and opportunities including alternative and modern methods of construction
- Using construction estimating software (including buildsoft, cubit etc.) and ms office programmes in tender preparation
- Be excellent in measurement techniques.
- Keeping up to date with current construction requirements and levy’s
- Marinating register of tender documents and addendums
- Producing lists of BoQ and Drawing / Spec extracts for pricing
- Assist with prequalification and works requirement document preparation
