Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for solar PV systems, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot system faults, error codes, connectivity issues, and performance problems by phone, email, and remote support.
- Guide installers and customers through system configuration, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
- Analyse monitoring data and system performance to identify potential technical issues.
- Escalate complex cases to engineering or product teams when required.
- Maintain accurate records of support cases, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Assist with warranty and RMA cases where applicable.
- Create and maintain technical guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Keep up to date with solar PV, battery storage, inverter, and energy-management technologies.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused support experience.
Requirements
- Technical qualification or relevant experience in electrical, electronic, renewable energy, or solar PV systems.
- Good understanding of solar PV system operation and electrical fundamentals.
- Experience with inverters, battery storage systems, monitoring platforms, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with remote monitoring and technical support software.
- Ability to manage multiple support cases and prioritise effectively.
