Role Description
We are seeking a responsible and customer‑focused Ice Cream Van Driver to operate within a designated area and complete sales within specified timeframes. The successful candidate will represent the company professionally, maintain high service standards, and ensure safe operation of the vehicle at all times. Full training will be provided.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive an ice cream van safely and efficiently within assigned routes
- Sell ice cream products and handle customer transactions
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional manner
- Manage stock levels, cash handling, and daily operational checks
- Ensure the van is kept clean, presentable, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Follow all company procedures and adhere to safety and operational guidelines
Essential Requirements
- Fluent English
- Full clean driver’s licence
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable Experience
- Previous van‑driving experience
- Experience in customer‑facing roles
Contract & Working Hours
- Initial 3‑month contract
- Flexible days and hours
- Minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours depending on business needs
