Warehouse Operative with Systems
Location: Parkmore West - Co. Galway
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 39-hour standard week
Salary: Competitive - Dependant on experience
Key Requirements
- Full clean Category B driving licence.
- Forklift/Reach Truck/Power Pallet/Combi certification desirable.
- Experience using scanners and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Azyra) is an a distinct advantage.
- IT competent with experience using warehouse systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel etc)
- Good communication and customer service skills.
The Role
Supporting the customer through picking, packing, storing and shipping materials in the warehouse while carrying out other associated work in the warehouse. The role also involves administration duties, customer communication, inventory control, and safe warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end warehouse process, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and dispatching stock accurately while completing all relevant system transactions and paperwork.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and carry out regular cycle counts.
- Use of warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, and other relevant software to create and manage picklists, dispatch documentation, and stock transfers.
- Support customers with queries, orders, and general account activity via phone and email.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific processes and company procedures.
- Support system accuracy and assist with investigations relating to stock discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse machinery safely and carry out daily equipment checks.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
- Experience using scanners and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Azyra) is an a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Machinery certifications such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Power Pallet Truck are beneficial
