Job Overview
As an Experienced Cleaner Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties (Commercial, Residential and Short Stay Rentals). You will also work closely with a bilingual team, fluent in both Spanish and English, to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations across all properties.. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing a team of cleaners, scheduling cleaning services, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and ready for guest stays. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of cleaning standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaner Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of cleaners responsible for cleaning and maintaining our properties.
- Assign cleaning tasks and schedules to the cleaning team, ensuring efficient and timely completion of cleaning services.
- Provide ongoing support, feedback, and performance evaluations to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Cleaning Operations:
- Develop and implement cleaning standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all properties.
- Coordinate cleaning services for guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring properties are cleaned thoroughly and promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning quality and compliance with established standards.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is maintained for efficient cleaning operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of cleaning products and equipment.
Maintenance Coordination:
- Liaise with maintenance teams and service providers to address any repairs or maintenance issues in the Short Stay properties.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding cleaning and maintenance matters.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to cleanliness or maintenance issues.
- Generate reports on cleaning activities, inventory, and maintenance requests to ensure transparency and effective management.
- Responsible for calculating payments in accordance with the company-approved budget and expert-provided guidelines, as well as based on the tasks completed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning coordination or similar roles, preferably in the hospitality industry or property management.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, techniques, and best practices.
- Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and capable of following up on trackers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cleaning teams, property owners, and guests.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address and resolve cleaning and maintenance issues.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Fluent in English
