Part-Time Warehouse Operative
We have an opportunity available at Traditional Cheese Company for a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team.
Working Days: Monday and Saturday
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all manual handling requirements.
- Pick products accurately, ensuring correct quantities and weights.
- Maintain awareness of temperature-control requirements within relevant areas.
- Ensure products are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely.
- Ensure all goods are rotated correctly using FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimise stock obsolescence.
- Maintain awareness of and adhere to allergen requirements and controls.
- Notify a member of the Quality Assurance team of any quality issues as they arise.
- Adhere to the Company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
Operational Requirements
- Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships at all levels, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures and expected standards of behaviour.
- Attend and contribute to required training.
- Respond positively to reasonable requests from Management.
- Promote and contribute to effective teamwork.
- Demonstrate flexibility to cover similar duties within the business where required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and workplace safety.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience
- Forklift Truck Licence
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment

Availability to work both Monday and Saturday is essential for this position.
Pay: €15.61 per hour
