Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation for a variety of projects. Duties
- Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to produce accurate system designs and construction documentation.
- Create detailed schematics for building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
- Assist in the realisation of design concepts through graphic design skills and detailed CAD drawings.
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
- Support project teams during construction phases by providing technical assistance and resolving design issues.
- Maintain organised project files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects project progress.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician or similar role within the architecture or construction industry.
- Extensive proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit.
- Familiarity with system design principles across various building disciplines.
- Experience producing detailed schematics for complex projects involving construction systems.
- Knowledge of graphic design techniques relevant to architectural visualisation.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings into accurate technical documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
