Maintenance Technician

Overview
We require a maintenance technician for I-RES who provide property management services primarily in the Dublin area. Working as part of a team of maintenance technicians.

Position Summary: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the co-ordination of all work necessary to maintain the properties in our Dublin portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the on-site team to ensure daily maintenance schedules are attended to and resolved or advise on approach to resolving the problem.
- Provide a first line fix and competency in terms of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, appliance, and other general items found in homes
- Install electrical outlets, light fixtures, door handles, knobs, sinks, doors as required.
- All other general property maintenance as required.
- Replace all burnt out light bulbs.
- Repair and report all deficiencies including, faulty door closures, plaster blisters etc
- Complete all necessary locker door repairs.
- Monitor, repair and report any required repairs.
- Maintain accurate records with respect to work orders
- To ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and to be delivered on time.
- Carry out reactive call outs and unscheduled works where necessary.
- Repair and report all common area deficiencies including, faulty door closures, tile repairs etc.
- Own transport for travelling to sites.
- Valid/Full clean drivers licence essential
Qualifications:
- RGI Plumbing qualification or trade preferred but not essential, however experience in property maintenance or similar role essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised and good team player.
- Patience and diplomacy with occupants.
- On call for after hour emergencies on an annual rota.
