The successful candidate will combine the technical experience of EHS compliance with the soft leadership skills to promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture. They will ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and legal requirements while driving continuous improvement across operations. They will maintain methods/procedures and all supporting documentation to meet the requirements of IATF 16949, Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety System ISO 45001.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a thriving EHS culture, supporting business units and EHS Champions to interpret and understand EHS requirements.
- Support the site's sustainability and environmental management program, which will enable the site to meet its water, energy and waste goals.
- Lead and deploy EHS Engagement activities across the site, focusing on Health and Safety, Environmental and Occupational Health Wellbeing activities.
- Maintain compliance activities to meet the requirements of Quality Systems IATF 16949, Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety System ISO 45001.
- Manage the site risk assessment schedule and drive continuous improvement to reduce risks on site.
Education and Background
- EHS Degree / NEBOSH General Certificate preferred or similar Safety qualification.
- At least 5 years experience working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is essential.
- Strong organisational skills, procedure document management
- Working Knowledge of EHS Management systems.
- Good knowledge of risk management / EHS Mgt Systems Software.
Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
