General Operative Job Purpose
The purpose of the General Operative role is to support our Site Supervisor in our multi-franchise dealership in Windsor Motormall.
About the role:
The General Operative position is an integral role within the team, delivering front line, best-in-class service to Windsor Motor customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Wash, hoover, clean and maintain customer and courtesy vehicles.
· Ensuring the highest standards are adhered to.
· Be responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of all cars leaving the service department.
· Ensure any damages to courtesy vehicles are notified to the manager for appropriate actions to be taken.
· Liaise with both Service and Workshop whilst reporting to the Aftersales Manager.
· Assist in maintaining the aftersales and valeting department and ensuring it is clean and tidy throughout.
· Collect and deliver service vehicles from customers and suppliers.
· Other duties may include some assistance in general site maintenance.
· Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Experience working in a dealership is desirable but not essential.
· Hold a full, clean and current driving licence.
· Be trustworthy, reliable and conscientious.
· Have the ability to work under time pressure and meet agreed deadlines and targets.
· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Work well as part of a busy team.
· Be flexible in their approach to work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €27,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
