The purpose of the role is to coordinate maintenance requirements with the demands of daily operations. Prepare work packages for aircraft in maintenance stations, and coordinate the plan to accomplish these work packages with Maintenance Control. Coordinate long-term maintenance requirements and prepare work packages for MROs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure scheduled maintenance is issued and accomplished within calendar, flight-hour and flight cycle limits as specified by ASL’s Maintenance Programs, EASA requirements, NAA requirements, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Special Inspections.
- Work with the Technical Services Engineering department in reading, interpreting and implementing Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and researching aircraft records.
- Work with MRO’s, Maintenance Control, Line Maintenance and Logistics to ensure personnel, tooling, paperwork, facilities and materials are in place for work to be issued.
- Use company data base to Monitor aircraft Location, TAT & TAC, Forecast maintenance, Create work packages and Maintenance Tasks.
- Create and update Fleet Planning Reports, Forecast Reports, Work Scopes, & Maintenance Check Packages
- Ensure the effectiveness of the Approved Maintenance Program
- Prepare, issue, and audit maintenance check work packages.
- Assist in the implementation of new aircraft into the ASL Air Fleet.
- On-going administration and assistance in the development of the Approved Maintenance Program.
- On-going administration and development of the ASL Ireland Fleet maintenance plans, including both line and base maintenance requirements.
- Liaise with Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance, Operations, Commercial and Quality Departments to ensure the safe, timely and cost effectiveness of all planning requirements and functions.
- Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in aircraft maintenance/aircraft engineering (Part 66 or degree)

Competent with AMOS system

Proficient in main MS Computer Packages

Competent in English
Experience:
-
5 years’ experience in large aircraft Maintenance Planning / Aircraft Engineering Services.

Experience in reading and understanding Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB)
-
Sound knowledge of maintenance programs and development.

General knowledge of large aircraft systems and structures.

Working knowledge of large aircraft manuals
