Role Purpose
The Production Supervisor is a key area leader responsible for overseeing multiple production teams and Team Leaders across assigned manufacturing areas. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example, holds high standards, and can drive safety, quality, and output in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full operational ownership of your production area — safety, quality, throughput, and people.
- Lead and develop Team Leaders, ensuring shift plans are communicated and executed effectively.
- Set and adjust priorities dynamically in response to scheduling changes, staffing issues, or production risks.
- Allocate labour using the Competency Matrix, ensuring operators work within their verified competence.
- Lead area-level problem solving and coordinate with Quality, Planning, and Design to resolve recurring issues.
- Conduct structured safety walks, enforce PPE and Safe Systems of Work, and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated.
- Ensure daily quality checks are carried out, non-conformances are logged, and corrective actions are followed through.
- Manage all people processes for the area — attendance, annual leave, performance, and conduct — with HR support where required.
- Deliver start-of-shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers, ensuring teams are informed and issues are documented.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the area.

- Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong people management skills — attendance, performance, conflict resolution.
- Decisive under pressure with the ability to adapt quickly.
- High standards for safety, quality, and systems compliance.
- Clear, confident communicator at all levels.
- Comfortable working with production systems (ERP, Timepoint, Wrxflo, or similar).
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar setting is essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR processes at floor level is required.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety in a factory environment is necessary.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and SOPs is an advantage.
Pay: From €40,000.00 per year
