Biofab Scientific Ltd is a recognised provider of high-purity process installations and mechanical services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and allied sectors. As a result of continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Orbital Welder to join our expanding team.
Role Responsibilities
- Carrying out orbital welding of stainless steel hygienic tubing and pipework
- Working in accordance with stringent pharmaceutical and hygienic industry standards
- Reading and interpreting isometric and fabrication drawings accurately
- Maintaining weld quality documentation and ensuring full traceability
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications
- Collaborating effectively as part of a site installation team
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in orbital welding within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or other high-purity environments
- Proven experience with stainless steel tube and pipe installations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow approved weld procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Safe Pass certification and relevant welding qualifications are advantageous
- Full driving licence preferred
