Company Information and Introduction:
We are currently seeking a Quality Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our quality systems across the business. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will assist with ISO compliance, internal audits, documentation, supplier collaboration, and quality improvement initiatives while working closely with internal teams and subcontractors. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, organised, and eager to develop their career within a dynamic engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct internal system and process quality audits to verify compliance with established SOPs, and quality standards across all departments & sites.
Support ISO 9001 certification, surveillance audits, and ongoing compliance activities.
Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection and quality records
Support Test Pack for various Systems across Projects.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
Conduct root-cause analysis and apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D and Ishikawa (fishbone) diagrams.
Support the development of quality improvement programs and initiatives to reduce defects and enhance process efficiency.
Assist in developing, reviewing QORs
Liaise with all internal departments to drive cross-functional quality improvements.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors on corrective actions, quality concerns, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Provide quality awareness, systems training, and process coaching to site teams.
Support the Quality Manager in achieving contract quality objectives and project-specific quality deliverables.
Key Skills and Competencies:
2–5 years’ experience in a Quality‑focused role (Quality Technician, Junior Quality Coordinator, etc.)
Understanding of root cause analysis and problem‑solving tools.
Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or construction environments.
Desirable
Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement training.
Understanding of welding standards (ISO 9606, ISO 5817).
Knowledge of EN 1090 certification.
