Cleaning Operative – Monaghan About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team in Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the site are clean, safe, and well-presented while working independently and as part of a team.
15 hours per week | €14.80 p/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Ensure all designated areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Empty, reline, and dispose of waste from bins and designated disposal areas.
- Perform floor maintenance duties, including dust control, mopping, buffing, and polishing where required.
- Complete regular cleaning tasks and inspections to maintain hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Follow site procedures and carry out any reasonable duties as directed by management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily cleaning responsibilities.
