Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable technical Project Manager to take full ownership of the delivery of fuel installation and Maintenance projects, and work alongside our existing management team to enable our continued growth, overseeing all stages from initial planning and mobilisation through to successful completion and handover. This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of commercial drivers, and the confidence to lead and motivate teams on site. You will be expected to maintain consistently high standards of health and safety, quality of workmanship, and overall project delivery while balancing the practical and commercial demands of the role. You will be responsible for the effective management of multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that resources are planned and utilised efficiently. This will involve coordinating subcontractors, internal site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders, while closely monitoring programme, cost, and progress. A key part of the role is ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within agreed budgets, and fully compliant with current regulations, industry standards, and client expectations, while proactively identifying risks and resolving issues to keep projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of fuel maintenance and installation projects from pre‑contract stage through to final handover
- Understand the operations of petrol filling stations, fuel equipment, including pipework, gauges, and dispensers.
- Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and scopes of work
- Prepare and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with current regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
- Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring company procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing risks, delays, and cost implications
- Manage variations, change control, and reporting to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Produce accurate and timely project reports, including progress and cost updates
- Support project close‑out, including documentation, certification, and final accounts
