Full Job Description
The primary function of a Dispatch Operative is to ensure that orders are picked accurately and prepared for dispatch. Attention to detail is extremely important in this role, and orders must be picked and loaded in an efficient and organised manner.
This role is a day shift position and requires availability to work up to two Saturdays per month and Bank Holidays from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick orders.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Keep the dispatch area clean and organised.
- Maintain a tidy layout of the dispatch area, ensure proper stock rotation, and monitor product shelf-life dates.
- Support the team in completing daily tasks efficiently.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.
