(Hotel Front Office Experience is required for this role. Please don't apply for this position if you do not have previous hotel experience.)

The successful candidate will be responsible for.
- To carry out duties to the standards as laid down in the standard of performance manuals.
- To ensure all guests queries are handled promptly and efficiently.
- To ensure all guest requests are met regarding room allocation i.e. VIP’s, IHG One Rewards membership.
- To update and add IHG One Rewards membership through the Holidex system.
- To ensure that we collect daily quota of tech cards from guests.
- To make follow up calls to guests after check-in to ensure guest satisfaction.
- To comply with the hotel policy in relation to cash handling and the billing/credit policy of the hotel.
- To comply with security and key procedures.
- To constantly liaise with the housekeeping department to ensure all guest requests are attended to.
- To take part in and promote any special ICH promotions.
- To participate in the up-sell program to upgrade guests to, suites and higher rated rooms.
- Answer telephones, transfer calls, take messages in line with the standard as set out.
- Act as a back up to the porter’s team by assisting customers with any requests or information that they require.
- To ensure that your work area is always maintained in a clean and organised manner.
- To take reservations as appropriate.
- To check back with customers after they have requested specific items to ensure that we have acted on the request in a timely manner.
- To complete the AM/PM checklist.
- To assist the team leaders in implementing and enforcing financial controls in the front office department.
- To compile any reports as requested.
- To allocate rooms in line with customer requests.
- To notify the FOM or DM of any VIP arrivals or bookings.
- To allocate groups in accordance with agreed procedures.
- To monitor and rectify any items on the PM accounts. All bills should be prepared and invoiced in accordance with hotel policy.
- To ensure that all registration and backup is stored in a neat, scheduled and organised manner to allow for easy access at a future date.

All job offers are subject to two successful references & Front Office Experience is essential for this role with a minimum of 6 months working at a fast paced Front Desk in a hotel.
Pay: €14.50-€15.50 per hour
