We now have an immediate vacancy in our Slane Factory for a Maintenance Electrician.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, the successful Candidate will have key responsibilities as follows:
- Provide maintenance support to production operations.
- Maintain production equipment through preventative and reactive organisation.
- Perform routine fabrication assignments as directed.
- Perform testing to ensure machinery is operating correctly and safely.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimum specifications.
- Supervise a scheduled programme periodically for maintenance shutdown.
Requirements:
- Recognised National qualification / apprenticeship.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
- Good overall knowledge of conveyors, elevators and screening systems.
- Good overall knowledge of PLC’s and programming.
- Experience of working with weighing systems.
- Basic computer knowledge essential.
