We are seeking to employ the above role with the possibility of an extension. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications:
- High Scope qualification (preferable)
- FETAC Level 5 Childcare Qualification or above (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a childcare setting. (essential)
Essential qualities include:
- A commitment to provide high quality childcare and education services to children aged between 6months-5 years.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability to co-operate with a large staff team.
- Ability to plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum (High scope) linked to Siolta and Aistear frameworks.
Duties include:
- To provide a planned, structured, and age-appropriate activities for the children in our service
- To ensure that the welfare of the children attending the service is paramount.
- To work as part of a team in the delivery of a high-quality service
- To share the day-to-day responsibility for children attending the service, including their physical and developmental care.
