Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator – Limerick
We are seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in the Limerick area. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient operation of wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor treatment plant processes and equipment.
- Respond to alarms, equipment issues, and operational faults.
- Carry out routine plant inspections and operational duties.
- Assist with deliveries, waste removals, and general site maintenance.
- Maintain plant buildings and surrounding areas.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in wastewater treatment or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
- Flexibility to respond to operational requirements outside normal working hours.
- Full clean driver's licence.
