About This Role
As the Senior Manager, Sourcing at Crusoe, you will build, own, and execute the corporate services procurement function at one of the fastest-scaling AI infrastructure companies in the world. In this high-impact, full-time role, you will lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle—from driving category strategy and market analysis to spearheading complex contract negotiations and managing supplier performance. By forging strategic partnerships with corporate leaders across the organization, you will deliver measurable financial value, mitigate business risk, and secure high-performing supplier relationships essential to powering Crusoe's rapid growth.
In addition to driving strategic sourcing initiatives, you will play a pivotal leadership role by hiring, mentoring, and managing Sourcing Specialists to expand the corporate procurement team. Your work will directly empower cross-functional teams with the enterprise tools, services, and operational support necessary to advance Crusoe’s mission of sustainable and ethical AI infrastructure. What You’ll Be Working On
Strategic Category Ownership: Build, own, and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for corporate services categories, including IT, Finance, Legal, HR, People, and Travel.
Procurement Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from initial market analysis and strategy development through contract negotiation and long-term supplier performance management.
Leadership & Team Growth: Lead, manage, and mentor Sourcing Specialists while actively building out and scaling the corporate procurement team.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted business partner to corporate leaders across the business, aligning procurement initiatives with organizational goals to drive value and support Crusoe’s growth.
Spend Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Conduct rigorous spend analysis and develop category strategies that generate measurable cost savings and continuously elevate corporate procurement practices.
Commercial Negotiations & SRM: Negotiate complex vendor contracts and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize cost, maintain top-tier quality, and ensure seamless service delivery.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Procurement Expertise: 10+ years of dedicated experience in category management or procurement with a primary focus on indirect procurement and corporate services.
Proven Financial Impact: Demonstrated track record of developing strategic category plans that deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiency.
Negotiation & SRM Mastery: Advanced contract negotiation capabilities and proven expertise in supplier relationship management (SRM).
Analytical & Influence Skills: Exceptional spend analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities paired with the capacity to influence and partner with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
P2P Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with modern Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, Zip, or SAP Ariba.
