Job Description:
SHCL are seeking an experienced general construction operative to join our site team on residential new build and renovation projects. This position also includes a materials and plant transport role and applicants should hold a full clean Category BE driving licence and be competent towing a trailer.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years construction experience
- Full clean Category BE driving licence
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be hardworking and reliable
- Maintain a high level of Health and Safety which includes the proper use of PPE
- Adhere to work instructions and procedures
- Current Safe Pass card
- Current Manual Handling cert
- Fluent spoken & written English
Skills required:
- Laying of foundations & concrete
- Laying drainage & building manholes
- Building rising walls & blockwork
- Demolition & steel erection
- Any additional tickets/training are beneficial (360 excavator, dumper, MEWP etc. )
