Position: Cellar Team Member
Department: The Oystercatcher / Skylark Restaurant
Reports to: Bars Manager / Restaurant Managers / Director of Food and Beverage
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities would include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries against orders and Procure Wizard dockets.
- Ensuring Procure Wizard dockets are correctly checked, processed and closed in a timely manner.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with delivery drivers regarding deliveries, quantities, discrepancies and any issues that arise.
- Ensuring all stock is correctly stored, organised and rotated.
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Stocking bars and wine cellars in preparation for service.
- Supporting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate stock control procedures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the bars, cellars and storage areas.
- Assisting with the bar-back area during the afternoon, ensuring it is clean, organised and fully prepared for service.
- Liaising closely with management regarding stock requirements, deliveries and discrepancies.
- Supporting the beverage operation across the Oystercatcher, 2 Iron and Skylark as required.
Experience and requirements:
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, ideally within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of wines, spirits, beers and other beverage products.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, particularly when dealing with suppliers and delivery drivers.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and as part of the wider F&B team.
- Good understanding of stock control and inventory procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, five-star luxury hospitality environment.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving and organising beverage stock.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
