Company Description:
ISM Recruitment is now hiring Artic Drivers on behalf of our client a leading Logistics provider based in Co. Mayo area. After 6 months probation and getting familiar with the type of work, European Continent work will be available for the right person.
Deliveries include temperature-controlled fridge work, curtainsiders, and walking floors type of trucks. This is a Full time position. The right candidate for European deliveries should have experinece driving on the continent. Drivers have an option to live in their modern trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with company regulations and traffic laws.
- Complete assigned routes efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of all transported goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Min 2 years Artic Driving experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider -preferably in refrigerated transport.
- Full Clean Irish Driving Licence (EC).
- Valid Digicard.
- Up to date with all CPC modules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work night shifts and flexibility around start times required
- Good track driving record
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Hours of Work:
- Night shift (start times between 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm)
- Day shift available (start times between 2am and 3am)
- Full time work
