We work closely with local suppliers, create menus around the seasons, and offer a world-class wine selection.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the heart of Galway City.
The Role
- Work across all sections of the kitchen, gaining valuable experience in a high-end, professional environment.
- Prepare and grill a variety of premium meat and fresh fish.
- Prepare and present dishes consistently to our high standards.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with creating new menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain excellent standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation at all times.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with and cooking fresh fish and quality meat to a high standard.
- Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A genuine passion and enthusiasm for food, together with creativity and a desire to develop your skills.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
- A good standard of spoken and written English.
