An engineering company is seeking an organised, reliable, and proactive Administrative / Operations Coordinator to join our team in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
This is a full-time, office-based role supporting the daily coordination of a team of remote field operatives. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations through effective communication with clients, accurate record keeping, and strong administrative support.
This position is ideally suited to someone with previous office experience who is confident managing multiple tasks, communicating professionally by phone and email, and maintaining accurate operational records in a busy working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support within a busy office environment
- Support the coordination of remote field operatives throughout the working day
- Communicate with clients professionally by telephone and email
- Record and monitor staff hours and expenses accurately
- Maintain and update internal data sheets and administrative records
- Log, track, and record call-outs and related operational activity
- Ensure all records and updates are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with scheduling, follow-up, and general office administration
- Liaise with field operatives, clients, and internal staff to ensure information is recorded and communicated effectively
- Help maintain the smooth flow of information between the office and field-based team
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or operations support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Experience dealing with clients by telephone and email
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Confidence working with spreadsheets, records, and internal systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond to changing priorities
